Outline
Eye-Ai magazine was established to provide information about Japanese entertainment in English to Japanese-Americans living in the US and other countries. Readership was focused in Hawaii at the time. In the intervening 35 years, interest in Japan has expanded, and our readership lives all over the world. On the other hand, in Japan, the number of long-term non-Japanese residents has increased dramatically, and both these and Japanese nationals make up the domestic readership of Eye-Ai.
With the ever-expanding market of business and pleasure travelers, Via is now reaching more readers than ever before since its start in 1978. Containing comprehensive information about the airports, including floor plans and air carrier details, Via also carries interesting and informative articles on Japanese culture. With both English-language and Japanese-language content, Via serves an international readership.
